I have very little interest in mainstream fashion yet I found this critique to be fascinating.

Sure. I just appreciate good writing, even if I have little interest in the subject. The way you present it is very well done and really digs into the small details. Bravo.

Love this, Vera! I haven't subscribed to Vogue in years, but as a fashion designer, I used to collect and edit every issue, carefully keeping my favorites. Designers tend to hold onto so many things—hoarders, in a way—but sadly, I had to part with most of them when I sold my home and moved. Marc’s spirit really resonates with me, and it’s wonderful to hear that Anna supports him. Just this week, I had a Zoom conversation with a young designer who’s about to move to NYC and start at Parsons. We discussed how much fashion has evolved—how much more diplomatic it’s become. I’ll definitely be picking up the December issue now, to keep it as a time capsule of sorts!
